Cocoa
Cocoa was born April 7th at about 4:30 in the afternoon, outside, in blizzard-like conditions. Needless to say, we weren't expecting her at that time! After some yelling and getting the kids in gear, we all pitched in and Wes picked Cocoa up and carried her into the barn and Swendoll Dandy followed. I tried to put my newborn foal blanket on her, but she's a big gal and it wouldn't fit. The proud daddy is Shawnee Sands. Cocoa is a grulla filly and is less than 24 hours old in this photo.
